ABOUT ME

-
Hello! My Name is Will Sargent and I am a Senior Sports Communication major at Piedmont College. I am active on campus through my fraternity, Alpha Sigma Phi, and working various sports games.
-
During my free time away from school, I am usually either working on my family's farm in Toccoa, GA, or for my family's business Concrete Placement Services on a concrete pump. When I am not doing that I enjoy traveling whether it be on vacation or various mission trips.
-
I have been involved in sports from a very young age. I enjoy the competition and self-pride through teamwork and individual successes. Sports communication is one way that I can give back to others--the joy of watching, listening, enjoying the game and all that comes with it and conveying that to my audience is quite satisfying.
-
I have always said to myself that if I do not make it in sports I would like to let others achieve their dreams in athletics.
Background
-
I was born in Gainesville, Georgia in June of 1999.
-
Being an only child I was always involved in sports starting at a very young age.
-
As high school came around I knew I wanted to be involved in sports in some way, whether it be playing or in the front office.

-
Mission trips have always been a part of who I am. The act of giving back in the name of Christ has always been a part of my values.
-
I have traveled from Haiti to Alaska and everything in between in order to spread the work and word of Christ.

-
In high school, I worked on the football team as a team manager for 2 years and shadowed the Athletic Trainers for 2 years as well as being a 2 sport athlete. (Baseball & Lacrosse)
