What is up, everyone, and welcome back to the sixth edition of the 12th Man Blog! I can’t believe that we are already on our sixth episode; time flies when you’re having fun! This week we have a more extended episode for you because I sat down with a great friend of mine, Brett Loftis, and we talked about all things NFL and Fantasy Sports. This week, we had a great conversation covering topics from what the Panthers should do this offseason, what we think Deshaun Watson should do, and this upcoming NFL Draft. Brett and I talk about many different situations that we believe could happen with the quarterback world in the NFL. We threw around some different situations that we think could, should, or may happen in the NFL offseason. What if Russell Wilson went to New Orleans, what if Deshaun Watson went to Seattle, and what if Tua Tagoviloa went to Houston. This NFL offseason is already shaping up to be one of the most interesting off-seasons in recent times, and it is just getting started.
Another subject that we talked about was fantasy sports and their role in the world of sports itself. Fantasy sports give you a sense of pleasure and give you a reason to tune in on Sundays. Brett has had multiple years of experience playing fantasy football dating back to high school. Make sure to tune in to get an insider scoop to see how Brett runs his draft and see what he looks for when it comes to the players he picks. He says, “playing fantasy sports gives you a chance to run your own team.” Having that sense of control over your team and having different players, you are more likely to watch those players play. Fantasy sports provide you with that socialization factor with bringing you together with other fans and gives you that thrill of victory.
Here is a question for you, who is your favorite all-time NFL player, and why? Leave it in the comments below!
